Position : Meat Processing Officer - Dar Es Salaam
A food processing and manufacturing company in Dar es Salaam is seeking a motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Meat Processor. Our goal is to create joyful moments in every home across Tanzania.
Responsibilities :
- Cut and process meat according to customer specifications.
- Use meat equipment and machines such as meat slicers and grinders.
- Weigh and package meat products for sale and distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
- Ensure that meat products are handled, stored, and prepared according to food safety standards and regulations.
- Provide customer service by answering questions, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed.
- Train and supervise other staff members as required
Required profile for job ad : Meat Processing Officer - Dar Es Salaam
- Proficient in communicating (both verbally and in writing) in Swahili; knowledge of English is a plus.
- Minimum of a secondary school education. Additional training will be beneficial.
- Work experience and training in meat processing is highly advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills to address challenges in meat processing.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Good physical strength, stamina, and ability to work in various environments.
- Skills or ability to operate meat processing machines and tools.
