It combine gas and steam to produce power.it produce 240kv and inject it to the grid. One steam turbine is combined with three gas turbine. but its not necessary to use all three gas turbine but at least two gas turbines are needed to drive /combine with one steam turbine. now days kinyerezi ii, use two gas turbine to combine with one steam in order to avoid large disturbance/blackout to the grid if anything happen to the power plant.
